Driving Directions

The Community of Skatin is located on the Lillooet River at the 19 Mile Post of the former Harrison-Lillooet wagon road, 35 kilometres north of Harrison Lake. Gold-seeking prospectors once traversed Skatin territory along the path now known as the Harrison-Goldrush Heritage Trail. Skatin is also known as Skookumchuck, so named for the Skookumchuck Rapids, created by a waterfall just upriver from the Village.
